Jacqueline Fernandez grew up in Bahrain, Manama. She is Sri Lankan and comes from a multiethnic background. Her father Elroy Fernandez comes of Sri Lanka (Sinhalese - Catholic)and her mother Kim is Malaysian. Jacqueline has two older brothers as well as a younger sister. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 was crown in March 2006; she was also a part of Miss Universe 2006 As a result of winning Miss Sri Lanka in 2006, Padukone began working on television. She was the host of the program Lanka Business Report which focused on business in Sri Lanka. Padukone is the daughter of badminton star Prakash Padukone. She was born in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. When she was a teen, Padukone was a participant in numerous championships for national badminton. However, she resigned from her passion for the game when she decided to become a fashion model. Padukone comes from Mangalore and her mother language is Konkani. Padukone is located in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi in Karnataka State of India, is where her family is derived from. Prakash Padukone's father was an international champion in badminton who has retiring. Her mom is a travel agent.
